Rotorcraft Conversion to Airplane Single Engine Land
Conversion
Pilots holding an FAA Private or Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate have few requirements to fulfill in order to obtain a Private Airplane Single Engine Land Certificate. Airlink LLC offers a conversion package for civil and military rotorcraft pilots. Military pilots who do not currently hold an FAA Rotorcraft Certificate need to complete one additional step in order toget their FAA Rotorcraft certificate. They also need to obtain an FAA Medical Certificate.
Requirements
A pilot who currently holds an FAA Private or Commercial Rotorcraft CertificateHas to fly in an Airplane:
- 10 hours Solo (of which 5 hours Solo cross- country)
- 3 hours Dual cross- country
- 3 hours Simulated Instrument
- 3 hours Night
Package Cost

The following hours satisfy the requirements for Part 61 aeronautical experience and requirements towards taking the FAA check ride.
